1. Shoaibh Khan (Emraan Hashmi)
Once upon a time in Mumbai was a classic gangster flick, which comes in every cinelover's list for favorite crime dramas. While Ajay Devgn was loved by everyone as the golden hearted don, Sultan, a man of his principles, Emraan Hashmi's Shoaibh showed the true nature of a gangster. All he cared was about only his benefit. Sultan, no matter, was a great man, but an imperfect gangster, as he had to face many problems due to his principles, and became a roadblock for many. Meanwhile, after killing his mentor, Shoaibh controlled the whole underworld like a boss (as we witness it in Akshay Kumar's same character in the sequel). In simple words, what Shoaibh did was morally wrong, but was right in a logical way.
2. Raghu (Varun Dhawan)
Badalapur is a movie, where you yourself are con tu who the main villain is! Raghu, who is introduced as the hero, slowly develops into a monster towards the end. Due to the immense pain he suffered due to the brutal murder of his wife and son, his vengeance knows no boundaries. Such that he is still not satisfied after the accused spends 15 years in prison, he wents on killing 2 innocent people and his pain is so strong that he still hasn't learnt to deal with his family's loss in 15 years.
3. Rohit Chopra (John Abraham)
In the first 30 minutes of Zinda, the visuals of Balajeet Roy (Sanjay Dutt) locked up in a room for 14 YEARS! haunts us (well much more now, because we know the feeling in last 6 months only, thanks to the moron who ate the bat soup in Wuhan! 😒) anyways, it makes us scratch our heads that what could be the reason for such a horrific punishment for someone? why would someone do such a thing to a person, that he would wish death as a better option. Only to realize that during their school days, Balajeet Roy harassed Rohit's 14 year old elder sister, after being rejected by her, to such an extent, that she committed suicide by immolating herself in front of her brother. And he wasn't able to save his sister.
4. Langda Tyagi (Saif Ali Khan)
When you slog your whole life serving your friend, but in the end, he puts politics before your loyalty, matters will only turn catastrophic. Langda Tyagi was that vengeful scheming guy.
5. Pakshirajan (Akshay Kumar)
Although 2.0 was not a complete Bollywood movie, but it was the Hindi version only, which was a superhit, all other versions were just coverage affairs. With the gruesome murders happening in the first half (through MOBILE PHONES) it struck our mind, what kind of maniac would be there behind all this. However in the 2nd half, when we get to know the backstory of Pakshirajan, it seems justified as to what he was doing. However, it is although not illogical, but impossible, regarding the use of cell phones we have in our daily lives. Still then, Pakshirajan's character was destroyed due to poor writing and screen time, however Kumar doesn't fail to leave a mark with his performance.
